亲爱的家长和同学们:
大家好！
相信我们刚刚度过一个快乐而充实的暑假， 现在， 我很高兴地宣布， 水牛城中文学校2018-2019学年即将于9月8号 早上 9：00-11：00在Williamsville North High School正式开学。2018学年，在学校校委会的带领下，在所有家长和志愿者的支持下， 在全体同学的共同努力下，我们一起度过了 一个非常成功的学年。希望在大家共同努力和支持下，我们将迎来一个更加快乐和成功的新学年。
下面是2019新学年学校的一些变化，请家长，老师和志愿者们关注，并尽早做好开学的准备工作：
- 学费：
- 2019学年，每位学生每学期的学费维持为$160，学费只收取支票，不收现金。为了方便财务收取学费和记录，开学前6周（10/13号截止），中文学校财务不单独收取学费，由各班老师协助收取学费后，统一交给财务，财务开据收据后，由老师将收据返还给家长。
*注：学费支票上请注明孩子姓名和所在班级（学校将会给每个孩子生成一个唯一的学号，如果您知道您家孩子的学号，也请标注）
- 开学前6周（10/13号）以后，学费由财务人员收取，并收取10%（16$）晚交费的“滞纳金”，“滞纳金”为每晚缴纳4周增加10%的学费.
*注：晚于6周以后注册的插班新生不需要缴纳滞纳金。
- 另外，只有西纽约华人联谊会的会员才可以在中文学校注册，联谊会的工作人员会在学校现场协助您完成会员注册，会员费是$30/人或者$50/家庭。请大家尽早缴纳协会会费。

- 去年的Pre-K班（今年的K班）改由刘莉老师授课，
- 去年的6年级和5年级合并，组成新的6年级由刘永新老师授课，教室改为A206
- 去年的7年级老师改由张丽娟老师授课,为8年级。

2018-2019 Beginning of School Year Announcement – Buffalo Chinese School
Dear parents and students of Buffalo Chinese School:
After a cheerful summer, I am glad to announce that the 2018-2019 fall semester of Buffalo Chinese School will begin at 9:00-11:00 AM on September 8， 2018 at Williamsville North High. Under the leadership of our school committee, with the efforts of all the students, and with the support from all parents and volunteers, we had a great and successful school year (2017-2018). We are looking forward for another successful year with your continuous support.
There are some changes regarding the tuition and classes for the new 2019 school year：
- Tuition：
- For 2019, the tuition will be still $160 per student per Semester. We only accept the Check or Money Order, NO CASH. For the convenience to be recorded by our treasurers, Please give your tuition check to the teacher of kids no later than the 6th week (10/13) after new semester starts.
*note: please noting the information of name, class or teacher of your children on the checks
- If you pay your tuition after 6th week (10/13), you need to pay it to our treasurers with 10% (16$) The penalty will increase with 10% per 4 weeks.
*note: no penalty for the late register student after 6th weeks
- As a friendly reminder, you have to be a Chinese Club Western New York (CCWNY) member in order to enroll to Buffalo Chinese School. CCWNY officers will help enrollment at the school during the registration time. The CCWNY membership is $30/individual and $50/family.
- Classes and Teachers
- Liu, Li will be the new Kindergarten teacher
- 5 and 6 classes of last year will be combined to one class, class 6, and the teachers will be Mrs. LIU, Yongxin. The classroom will be A206.
- ZHANG, Lijuan will be the new teacher of 8th class.

As a kindly reminder, Please watch your kids in the Parking lot of North High school during coming and leaving the school, Be Safe! Please also follow the Williamsville North High parking regulations by parking your vehicles only at permitted spots. As warned by North High, any vehicles left violating the rules may be towed at the owner’s expense. Thank you again for your support to Buffalo Chinese School.
